The architect of this site is Frederick Grambs, owner of Twin Pines Technologies, based in Wayland, NY. Mr Grambs explains, "When I was looking for VOIP service reviews, I found nothing. So, seeing a gap, I decided to create a website where anybody can post their VOIP experiences." VOIPOutpost.com allows visitors to join the discussion forums and post reviews of VOIP providers and hardware. There is no cost to join the site. According to Mr. Grambs, VOIP Outpost will never accept direct advertising from any VOIP company, thereby ensuring his web site's neutrality. Although this flies in the face of normal marketing ideas, Mr. Grambs feels that VOIP Outpost can have a positive revenue stream by using a combination of Adwords and non-VOIP advertisers that want to take advantage of the traffic that VOIP buzz can generate. This is not Mr. Grambs' first foray into the Internet world. Before striking out on his own, he worked for a large NYC based dot-com company, then he started a small web hosting service and is currently working on several web based products for his local businesses.
